"Naked Nylon"

Naked Nylon | 2011
Nylonist scholars say that the objectification of a nylon involves the act of disregarding the personal and intellectual abilities and capabilities of it; and reducing a nylon's worth or role in society to that of an instrument for the sexual pleasure that it can produce in the mind of another. Although opinions differ as to which situations are objectionable, some nylonists see objectification of nylon taking place in the sexually oriented depictions of it in advertising and media, nylons being portrayed as weak or submissive through pornography, images in more mainstream media such as advertising and art, stripping and prostitution, men brazenly evaluating or judging nylons sexually or aesthetically in public spaces.

"Black&White", 2011

This series, laconically titled „Black & White“, narrates a disruption in a continuity, and tells a story of a staged break in a staged one-person-show. Dark, carnivalesque and visceral joy, so suddenly interrupted by frazzle and gravity. Remaining personal and thoroughly aesthetic, the self performative gesture of the artist transcends a concreteness of the photographic image and a physicality of the action itself to obtain an abstract and ambiguous dimension. Here is a portrayal of a subject, split and divided, always in a continual conflict with the gravity of the everyday, it is a story of a splitting, always overriding a stable state and a stable identity.
